Standard Cars in Australia: 1907 – 1940 - Sticky ad

Standard Cars in Australia: 1907 – 1940

The Standard Motor Company set up a network of agents throughout Australia. By the late 1930s sales were rapidly increasing and the scene was set for the introduction of the most successful export model that Standard had produced. The Vanguard was released in Australia in 1948.

The story of the pre-war Standard cars in Australia is told for the first time. The book contains many photos and a collection of new material to help Australian Standard owners to identify their cars. There is also a catalogue of models sold and a chapter dealing with the origins and restoration of the oldest known Standard car, SMC1.

The book is now available from the author. Price: $45 (AUD) plus postage.
